Crafts

These 3D street art are SO awesome! I wish I had the time/patience/skill to do this... especially if eco-friendly chalk is being used away. The process of the beauty washed away with time/rain/weather is also a very interesting perception.

Been trying to make the garter bands by crocheting... but I used too thick of a yarn so maybe I'll redo it tomorrow... Lame! What a crazy-busy day today was!
[Today: Got tuxes for guys, packed to bring over apt in morning, loaded, cut flowers for Sat, made garters, ironed, cut tablecloths, etc...]
[Tomorrow: Pack until ready for school, school at 9:30am- almost 12, "bachelorette-lunch" with some friends, sister's wedding at 3pm, dinner at 6ish?]

Obsessedddd

I've always loved games whether it be gameboards, made up games, tag, computer games and especially all those cool games coming out recently! If only one had the time and money to play it as much as I'd like to! But, of course, reality is right here, right now. Booo..
So I thought I'd blog about some games that I've really liked until now and will probably love!
-Ico is such a wonderful game for the Gamecube and its value keeps climbing up. Didn't realize it at the time how limited it was. The graphics are wonderful, pretty fun play time as well. Some of the levels can be sorta difficult.. overall a game you use your brain more for.
-Diablo II and OMG Diablo III! Can't waitttt. Hopefully, after I finish school so I won't be distracted from all that gaming. Kinda creepy playing at home at night, but Love it.
-Oh yes, the Little Big Planet 1 +2 (Just won LBP2 today at Dave and Busters today, woohoo!!) Need I describe more being a lil sack full of fun and going through challenges alone or with friends?
-Black and White I and II! Simple and you can be either a good god or a bad god. Bwahaha.. how fun is that??

Ideas

Isn't it funny how some ideas that pop up in your head sometimes can be dismissed by others, but later on, it actually is made and you're like.. I totally thought of that! Could've made millions! Hahha, well, not like we usually have the resources anyway. So few years ago, about 4 or 5, I had this fantastic idea of creating a car.. that runs at first by electricity and as you keep going, there are systems embedded in the car that catches the wind and uses it to keep generating the car. No use of water, solar, or costly gas needed to function! The idea is kinda like those windmills that generate electricity but since you move, you make energy. Oh well, there goes my idea! :]

Biblioteca Parque Espana

Since my computer is hating on me and I (and others as of now) can't figure out how to fix it yet, can't post any craft pictures! Currently having a ConQueso help me with this project on researching on this library since I can only work on my laptop in Safemode.... This is Biblioteca Parque Espana by architect Giancarlo Mazzanti in Columbia. Pretty awesome architecture, if you ask me! Inspired by nature to inspire students!
I swear, this is the most fast planned (2 weeks!!) wedding and yet, oddly relaxing and exciting one I've ever been in or seen. :D Oh simplicity!

Homemade Soap

As party favors, my sister and I decided to make soap since we had the materials around for a while now. All we had to do was buy something to place them in (Party City.. woohooo!)

Made them in different colors and scents... yay! :]

Birdcage Veil A

Since my dress looks like a vintage dress, I thought I would make it suit with a birdcage veil.
So I just started working on this veil after going through thrift stores many times to find supplies... here's my progress: First made the flower, added pearl in center. Attached veil to hair comb with thread then attached flower + pearl things to the 2nd veil and then put all together. Really easy!!
Might add/take out some things or even change it.. just a mock up..Love it!

Rooftop Gardens

Been sick so haven't posted so here we go!

I love gardens and think the idea of utilizing but also using less space is wonderful! Why NOT put it on the roof? Instead of all that sun wasted on your dark rooftop, why not do something with it? Grow something! So hopefully, if I ever own a home, I'll be able to afford to have a garden on my roof. If not, there'a always the option of the window sill or little pots near the windows. Greenery, it makes life so much better!

Thinking of making a birdcage veil and adding a flower made of fabric to it. less than 2 weeks! Go me! :] I really should focus on school but having this damn flu is killing me!

Snow in the Bay??

They say there is the possibility of snow falling in the Bay Area which hasn't happened in so long! I have yet to see it snow at all even though I've seen the snow about 3 times total in my life.

The temperature is dropping like crazy here and man, everyone is sick, I'm super sniffly. Uggghh. Kleenex is my best friend. Even though I'd like to see it snowing, I hope the temp. will rise quickly! So tired of this cold, the freezing toes and fingers, and the sleepiness... Feel just like a bear... :]

Textures

Having walls doesn't mean you have to have boring plain ones like we typically see in our homes. I love textured walls, especially inspired or created from natural resources such as this interior made of what looks like stalks of bamboo. Such a interesting layering effect that is as dynamic as it is soothing to the eye. Who needs a neutral paint when you have the dried bamboo to add that touch to your home?

Talking about texture, this dress by ASOS is so wonderful! I would love to own it if they still had size 2 (wonder if I'd fit in that 4...) and if I had $100 to spare. I love this look that is unique yet elegant enough to wear pretty much anywhere.
Finished part 1

All I need to work on are the section, plan which I need to convert and place into Illustrator then
work on the layout, Photoshop details such as people, books, etc. Pretty happy with it... :P
Yay to being partly done early/quickly!! Woohoo!
I think I might want to re-render one of the images because the angle is kinda funky but ehh, place holder for now I suppose.
I have a real fondness for classy but funky dinnerware and I love glass! Never can get used to those plastic dinnerware/cups....Once I get my own place with the Man.. ;]

Spine

Personally, I find the back one of the sexiest parts of the human body on either gender. Something about hour-glass shape with the narrowed waist and hips flared out is so attractive (yes, even men usually have smaller waists than their shoulders). The indention of the spinal cord is quite nice to look at. I'm not saying I like the look on super skinny people or larger ones, just saying it looks nice. Sexy without being over the top...

Quick quick!

Fast post since I realized I don't have that much time... Some ideas for my sister (she's kinda chubby, short, and will be showing more when wearing the dress... ) the slimmer one is me. Gotta cover that tat so mother and father won't be even more shocked. :P

I know, I'm not the best sketcher of human figures but I've been doing buildings for so long! It feels weird to draw the proportions of the human body esp since we're both so short! I guess something like the picture but not so... much lace! I'm an uncomplicated woman. Gotta figure out what the sister likes besides just being comfortable.
Door knobs are usually over looked, but here's a cool one but with no privacy if you have a peeper. You can see what's in the other room! Kinda like when you look at yourself on a spoon. I suppose it's great for crazy fathers!!
